The DMF seminar series is broken into tracks.  Below are the details and a complete schedule:

Track 1:   AV Infrastructure, Media Management & Distribution  - Morning Session

Video Media over network infrastructure has become part of mainstream content distribution. In this track you will learn about the latest technologies and how they can interface as part of a complete solution to access and deliver video information.

9:30 – 9:50         Extron A great foundation to start the day with. You will learn a quick primer on the latest signal flow cable and connector technologies and new configurable control of those systems.

10:00 – 10:20     Scala  Digital Signage for Every Budget. Learn from the originator (and still the leader) of Digital Signage Networks. From entry level to a full Corporate Private TV Network, Scala has a solution for every budget.

10:30 – 10:50      Leightronix  Anyone who needs to automate the playback of video information should attend this seminar. Leightronix offers cost effective integrated digital video solution that allows users to record, broadcast, and provide live and video-on-demand streaming.

11:00 – 11:20       VBrick  In a world of media overload, how do you manage it all?  The new VBrick Mystro is an enterprise level media management and distribution tool that controls everything from Classroom Capture to instant media accessibility. Learn how media control from corporate to campus is easy.

11:30 – 11:50      Epson  Epson is more than just projectors and printers. You will learn why it’s not very intelligent to buy Smart Boards any more. Epson’s end point solutions include interactive projectors that can access any media on your network by tapping on your wall or table top!  You will learn how you can do more than a Smart Board solution and save upwards of $2,000 per room doing it.

Track 2:   HD Production & File Based Workflow  - Afternoon  Session

In this track you will learn about how file based workflow has evolved from acquisition to distribution of digital media. Topics include recording, storage, editing, encoding, transcoding and management.

1:30 – 1:50         JVC     Learn about the fastest workflow in the production industry by using solid state recording. JVC will review  the recently released studio and field cameras.

2:00 – 2:20          Sony   Always the innovator, Sony reviews several camera products and media files for different workflows. Discussion will include XDCAM, NXCAM and the new Super 35MM.

2:30 – 3:20          NewTek   This seminar will last a little longer, but it will be well worth your time.  Featuring game changing technology, NewTek continues to introduce new products that will change the way we produce media.

3:30 – 3:50          Avid  With Apple’s recent decision to disregard professional editors, this is a great time to  take a look at the new Avid approach to post production. You will learn about a shared storage, collaborative approach to making incredible content.

4:00 – 4:20          Telestream  Encoding and file management continues to be a mystery to most. In a world of increasing file formats this 20 minute seminar will shed light on the power and cost of some options. If streaming video is part of your plans (and it should be!), this could be the most important seminar of the day.

Also join us for an evening session

Cocktails served from 4:30. Beginning at 6:00 join us for an in-depth NewTek presentation on the Tricaster 850 Extreme.  Plus, learn how others are using the  TriCaster from a  discussion panel of notable TriCaster users  in the Philadelphia  area
