To create publicity for their high speed network products, Verizon Communications created Dream254: The Verizon Incubator. Dream524 was part of the Verizon "Realize" multicultural advertising and marketing campaign, launched in Philadelphia. The campaign features Verizon broadband customers who tell stories of how the technology helps them pursue their dreams of launching home-based businesses or strengthening their communities.
Verizon hired Carpe Diem Film Production Services from Villa Park, IL, to produce a 24 hour per day, 3 week long, live web cast from a location on South Street in Philadelphia. The production garnered thousands of viewers each day from all over the world. Under tight deadlines, Carpe Diem had to select the location, (an old storefront) and turn it into a full TV studio capable of multi-camera audio and video switching from every room in the building. To do this they hired AVT. Using our close vendor relationships, AVT was able to accelerate product deliveries, while completing the design and installation. In just days prior to the opening, AVT had built and tested a complete TV facility, then trained the operators. The project was a huge success and gained a tremendous amount of publicity for Verizon.
