Formerly a public company, Traffic.com was acquired by digital maps provider NAVTEQ in 2007. AVT played a significant part in this growth as we first supplied dozens of animation systems to help Traffic create content to distribute. Then in 2006, AVT built a state-of-the art automated TV studio based around a NewTek VT4 switcher and production system at the Wayne, PA headquarters. The new studio allowed Traffic to enhance their content offering, and provide a wide variety of distribution methods including broadcasting, streaming and wireless downloads.
