When Wyeth first moved to their new corporate campus located in Collegeville, PA, they selected AXIS TV to place content on flat screens located in their conference center. With plans to expand the number of screens to other buildings, it became apparent that a more robust signage foundation had to be laid. In 2004, at AVT’s direction, a Scala InfoChannel 3 system was designed and installed, providing a managed corporate message on the campus-wide Wyeth private TV Network. The initial network was comprised of 5 Scala systems that fed 6 flat screens on the campus. Improved communications were soon realized, and more and more departments, such as human resources and security, wanted to use the system.
After studying the growing corporate communications demands, AVT recommended that Wyeth upgrade to CastNET, an easy to use interface for Scala, which improved corporate workflow. In April 2007, AVT added a CastNet server, 12 CastNET players and 25 Sony 40” LCD flat panels. The new systems were installed in common areas and lobbies at 10 Wyeth locations from Massachusetts to North Carolina.
This dynamic corporate signage network continues to grow as AVT has added 6 players to The Fort Dodge Animal Health Division in Overland Park, IA and are currently working on installations in Japan and other locations around the world.
The Wyeth Corporate Digital Signage System has expanded to locations all over the world.
