AVT is Hiring

Applied Video Technology (AVT) is looking for an experienced AV Installer to work at our Kimberton, PA location. AVT is a systems integration company providing products and solutions to meet their networked audio visual systems, videoconferencing, video-streaming, digital signage, and video-production solutions needs.

The primary role of the AV Installer is commissioning audiovisual systems which include equipment configuration, troubleshooting, minor programming, loading and testing control code, and other related activities. Updating documentation drawings, punch list, spreadsheets, and archiving of equipment files at project completion, customer training, and team participation are important parts of AV Installer position. Day-to-day work will generally be at customer sites. In-house system testing will be needed from time-to-time. Confidence, professionalism, accuracy, attention to detail, punctuality and good communication skills are attributes required for success.

Requirements:
 Pulling of electronic cable
Responsible for the basic wiring and installation of hardware
Responsible for the operation of cable testing equipment
Meet all installation deadlines
Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory items
Full compliance with company's and customer's safety program
Operation of power tools
Other duties as required or assigned by company management

Minimum position requirements include:

Experience providing audiovisual and/or IT service or technical support.
Must be able to obtain and maintain InfoComm CTS certification.
Experience adjusting common audio equipment and video display systems required.
Jobs may be outside of the local area and require overnight travel including weekend commitments. Overtime may be required with little to no advance notice.
Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license, insurance and use of personal vehicle.
