As Chester County moves to the yellow stage of the Covid-19 re opening phase, Applied Video Technology, Inc. (AVT) will continue to do our best to make sure our employees, customers, vendors, and families continue to stay safe. During these past weeks we have been consistent with all applicable state and local orders and feel that this has allowed us to prepare to successfully move to the next phase and look forward to continuing to provide our exceptional level of service to our customers.
AVT has worked to create and implement many new policies and internal procedures that will allow us to do this. AVT will follow all CDC recommended health and safety procedures including, but not limited to, consistent monitoring of employees' wellness, conduct regular wellness checks and health surveys and insist that any employee with symptoms consistent with Covid-19 remain at home. Our office layout has been altered to discourage group gatherings and ensure employees in the office are a minimum of 6 feet apart. All employees while in the office will be required to wear masks, and hand sanitizing and disinfection stations have been set up at all common areas around the office. We have equipped our technical services team with the proper PPE to wear while on job sites.
Although we know many of our employees are anxious to get back to work, we are also aware that this cannot happen all at once. We will be encouraging all employees that are able to perform their jobs from home to continue to do so and create a schedule that allows for limited AVT staff to be in the office at one time. Because of the nature of the Audio Visual industry, we know this is not entirely possible and have come up with guidelines for site surveys, customer meetings, and installations that we hope will keep our staff and customers safe. We will provide you with these guidelines for your review before we schedule any onsite visits. As much as we love coming onsite to meet with our clients we are encouraging virtual site visits and limited on site visits as possible and will not be conducting any in office meetings.
We have been hard at work over these last few months and are excited to take this next step towards re opening. We know there will be changes to how we all operate and do business but we look forward to continuing to work with you, especially during this time where digital and video communication has become so important in all our lives. We look forward to working with you all again soon.
