Uncommon Individual Creates the REC Studio

Founded in 1986, the Uncommon Individual Foundation (UIF) in Wayne, PA, is a nonprofit that promotes mentoring through 5 key programs: Entrepreneurship, Technology, Education, Media & Corporate Mentoring.  In order to take their mission to the next level, UIF wanted to create a community-based, nonprofit multimedia studio to empower individuals, entrepreneurs, students and innovators to have a voice and outlet.

UIF turned to AVT because of their extensive history with creating state of the art TV Studios and Multi Media Facilities.  AVT worked with UIF to design and build a turn-key television studio system complete with studio camera systems, wireless microphone system to mic talent in any location within the studio set, studio lighting and curtain system, intercom for communication between talent and the control room, and a video wall in the studio.  The Richard E. Caruso Studio–or REC Studio for short produces daily local, original videos centered around the theme of mentoring. REC Studio focuses on hyper local content and shines a light on the people and businesses making a difference in the community.
